Stainless steel parts are a great improvement to install in your gun as they are more resistant to rust and corrosion than the factory steel parts. This spring will work in Uberti 1866 & 1873 rifles or carbines of any caliber. These magazine springs are made of 303 stainless steel and also make loading your magazine tube easier since they are a softer spring. These are available in 20" or 24.25" lengths, however you can trim them down for shorter barrel lengths as needed.
