If you are planning to sight the Wm. Malcolm 6X 30" Telescopic Sight at 100 yards, you will need to use the higher front ring. This will prevent the rear mount from running out of elevation when shooting 100 yards. The standard height front ring for the Wm. Malcolm 6X 30" Telescopic sight is designed to be zeroed at 200 yards.
